I’m excited to announce that I was the winner of the Acrew 2022 crew awards in the Mentorship category. This came about from my work here, helping all the lovely new green crew enter the industry, and also for my work over at The Superyacht Chef.com, A website I launched and have worked on for the past 4 years.

I am so proud of the crew who are coming up the ranks in yachting. I have worked with so many crew who are at different levels in their career, from just being curious to working on superyachts, through to experienced yacht crew who are just wanting a Cv spruce up. Green crew who are entering the industry have it tough, but I don’t gatekeep- I love to give out my knowledge to anyone who will listen!

Winner of the Acrew best private yacht crew 2022
I also had the pleasure of working on S/Y Eos at the time that they won the Best Private Yacht Crew Acrew award too! While I can’t claim this win as my own (nominations and voting had been well and truly completed by the time I joined as a temp chef onboard), it was so lovely to celebrate for the weekend with the crew, many of whom had worked on S/Y Eos for many years. The prize was well deserved, I have never worked on a more supportive vessel with a crew who are as fun-loving.
