What is the yacht hierarchy for stewardesses?

A stewardess works on a yacht and is also often referred to as “interior crew” (the deckhands are usually just called the deck team) The chefs and the purser are also included as interior team as far as yachts go, but the only crew members called stewardesses are the junior stews, stew masseuse, housekeeping stew, or head housekeeper, second stew, chief stew.

If you are working on bigger boats you may find the department broken down further again. Some yachts also employ stewardesses who also work as nannies, teachers or advanced first aid nurses.

These crew members may also be stews, or, they may be like the galley department and be separate from the stewardesses yet, still called part of the interior team.
